Shahabad Milk Union (Shahabad Dugdh Utpadak Sahkari Sangh Limited) is a co-operative Organization having the Jurisdiction of Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, Kaimur districts which established in 1987. Since then it has been steadily progressing both milk procurement and marketing. It is ensuring good quality milk and products to consumers while giving remunerate price and technical support to producer members. This organization implementing various central and state government schemes like RKVSY, RSVY, IDDP, AFDP,NDP-1, FD, RBP, VBMPS, DEDS, IAP, NPBB, NPDD, NLM, RGM, NAIP, SAAT NISCHAY-2 etc. to strengthen the village level dairy co-operatives and producer members. COMFED (Bihar State Milk Co-operative Federation Limited) is an apex body is providing support in marketing activities and other infrastructure development.

Union is having Vision 2025 where in, we have emphasized 5 lakh LPD from the present 2.95 lakh LPD.

Union is planning to create and develop required new infrastructure for procurement, processing and marketing of milk in view of growing demand for milk and products in coming years.
